VYPE Magazine caught up with Sam Rhynes, a junior on the varsity soccer team, to learn more about him as the season gets underway.
VYPE: Sam, I know you’re a junior at Ada High School, but when did you start playing soccer?
Rhynes: I’ve played soccer since I was around five years old.
VYPE: What do you love most about your team and teammates?
Rhynes: My teammates are my best friends and all of us are really close. My teammates are family.
VYPE: What is it about the game you truly enjoy?
Rhynes: Just being part of something. Just getting to play the game I love.
VYPE: Away from soccer and school, what would I find Sam Rhynes doing with his free time?
Rhynes: I like to hang out with friends, spending time with family, skate and play piano.
