Getting to Know Ada’s Reid Samson – Presented by Seth Wadley Chevrolet

VYPE: What are your goals for yourself and your team this season?

Reid: My goal for myself is to help make a major contribution to the team this year and my goal for our team is to make it to state and then to win the state championship.

VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?

Reid: The most fun I have had in the last year was over the summer when I got to play baseball in Nashville.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade or coach and why?

Reid: My favorite coach would have to be coach Caldwell because he helps push me to be better and my favorite teacher would have to be Mrs. Morrison because she is really understanding.

VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?

Reid: My favorite athletic memory is last year when we went to broken bow for a tournament and all stayed in a cabin together.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Reid: Zac Carroll definitely left the biggest impression on me because he did things for me last year when I was freshman that are unimaginable for most freshman.

VYPE: Who on your team has the best impression of your coach and who says the funniest things during games?

Reid: Jack Morris has the best impression of coach and Sam Charboneau says the funniest things during games.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Reid: If I could go anywhere for vacation, I’d go to the Virgin Islands and I’d want to go with Clayton Kershaw because I’ve idolized him for a long time.

VYPE: If you had $500 and had to spend it in the next 24 hours, how would you spend it?

Reid: If I had 500 dollars and had to spend it in the next 24 hours, I’d spend it on a dog of some sort.

VYPE: Here is your chance to say hello, goodbye or thank you to anyone you wish.

Reid: I want to say thank you to everyone that has believed in me and put time into me and I also want to say thanks to my parents as there is no way I’d be where I am today without them.
